Mikoto kujou
She is a poor, low class girl but she is smarter and stronger than both boys and girls. Yanagi refers to her as a rival cause he always is second in anything while Kujou is first. She is quite dense in several things like the fact that she does not know Yanagi's feelings for her even though he followed her from primary school to university and even joined the astromy club to make sure no guys approach her.
Naoto Yanagi
The son of a rich and influential family and excels in Sports.
Girls seek him because of his good looks and skills, however he doesn't acknowledge them because they only chase him for his looks and wealth, which according to him is given to him by his parents and isn't self-earned (which Kujou told him in their first conversation). He has attended the same primary, middle, high school and university as Kujou, chasing her everywhere so he doesn't lose contact with her. Despite being blessed in all things, he is quite naive and a poor guy when it comes to romance.
Kei Souma
Considers himself a rival to Yanagi. Other than Yanagi, he lived in the mountains in a poor village, getting sick of his hometown he left trying to live a more exciting life. But he finds himself second to Yanagi, who is perfect and gets whatever he want (in Souma's view). He tries getting close to Kujou when he sees how close they are to take her away from Yanagi, only to fail. He gets closer to the gang, still having a deep hate for Yanagi.
He spends much time with Kujou and unexpectedly begins to develop feeling for her.
Tachibana Momoka
Tachibana Momoka is a supporting character in the Last Game manga. She has a crush on Yanagi and dislikes Kujou since Yanagi likes her and not herself. She usually annoys Souma to spy on Kujou and Yanagi for her and argues with him quite a lot.
